Link to Roses And Thorns.

I sat down recently with a young man from the Internet. Normally life is busy enough, but with enough grits and a group of friends. Together they have formed a new site on this vast Internet society, and created what is ideally a dream come true. Over this vast Internet I talked to the person behind the scenes, and a long time regular on #URD Undernet. I am here to tell you about one of the young pioneers and he goes by the name of Meta.

Meta has combined with others, from the Internet, to create Roses and Thorns. I asked him what he actually did at RNT, as they have simply dubbed it, and who works with him on it. He paused a while to think and finally stated. "Well, I basically look after the site. I have been slowly adding new sections and functions to the page. I am still fairly new at PHP (What the site is built on), but Im defiantly getting the hang of it, and I hope that I will continue to be able to expand and add to the site."

He continued on answering the second part of my question, "Well, Phil (AKA Frog) is the main artist. Although I did the site artwork (I.e. the graphics around the comic) Phil is the mastermind behind the whole RnT plot and naturally is the best at drawing the comic. Yokaze is now helping us with the CG (coloring) of the art. He is the best CG artist in the land, in my book, and they turn out looking spectacular."

The conversation turned to the bases of most people goals on creating something on the Internet. I bided my time and then asked him what was his purpose behind Roses and Thorns, and if he wished to someday make money on it. His answer was quick and seemed heart felt. "RnT is and Im sure will always be for the Fans, We enjoy making them and I hope people enjoy reading them. Although I would love to make money from anything I do I know it would only make it annoying and unattractive. So unless there is a demand for it I'm pretty sure RnT will be 'by fans for fans."

We continued to talk about how Roses and Thorns had grown and its possible growth in the future. Over all I believe it was of the gem sites out there in this vast Internet. It is currently located at http://rnt.kuiki.net/, and I truly enjoyed looking at it. I believe Meta and the others have been graced with that uniquely powerful pioneer spirit. I would not doubt that very good things would come from him in the near future.
